I need to modify the book page template to include quotes from the books. I’m considering a system that pulls the HTML from the Cover Block stored in the Quote CPT. The challenge is deciding whether this should happen before or after the HTML is copied into the ACF field. Until I resolve this, I’m stuck from fully migrating the remaining chapters in the first narrative thread. I likely need to store multiple variations of each Cover Block depending on the final implementation. For example, should I include images, shortcodes, or CPT links? That seems logical, but it also has to look right on the page. I may need smaller, alternate versions—possibly using graphics and text-based links—especially if there are many quotes. This decision is important because it will also influence how lyric pages are structured, given their similar design needs.
