I need to consider the future of the Lexicon page. I really like this page because it serves as the site’s dictionary and reference guide—which is why I chose the term “Lexicon” in the first place. While it currently displays Concept custom post types, I think it should eventually include more than just simple definitions. A “concept” can represent anything, and I need to explore how this might expand to broader categories or taxonomies, though I don’t yet fully understand how taxonomies work. I started thinking about all of this when I began tagging WordPress posts, but I outgrew the tag system almost immediately. That’s what led me to use the ACF Pro plugin—I realized I needed a more advanced way to interlink content. The power of metadata is huge, but none of it is automatic; everything needs to be planned, named, labeled, and logically interrelated. These labels can be grouped, and those groups can be further grouped, creating a very advanced structure—but it requires a lot of upfront consideration. For now, I think the best starting point is to allow each Concept to have related Concepts. That should be enough to build from.
