I’m overwhelmed by the number of structural tasks still in progress, and it’s starting to throttle creative momentum. Between the CPT migration, theme creation, song conversions, and reference clean-up, I’m juggling too much—and it’s making it hard to actually add content or develop new ideas.
I’m months away from completing all CPT migrations, and that’s okay. But I need to stop letting structural perfectionism get in the way of progress. Even something like the lyric and quote system has become a rabbit hole that’s now delaying the very content it’s meant to support.
Immediate priorities to regain momentum:
- Finish converting all songs to CPTs
- Then move to non-song CPT conversions
- Then handle references
- Then resume theme tagging
Adding the Rappers CPT was a good win and shows that progress is still happening. But I need to give myself permission to work with what I have—even if the system isn’t perfect yet. This is about pushing through the weeds and getting things moving again.
